Hey guys, Gunny here.

I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you why we started this company.

First and foremost, I'm a husband, father, and grandfather. Family has always been at the center of everything I do, and the values I learned at home are the same values that have guided me throughout my career.

I spent 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in expeditionary construction, building temporary airfields and infrastructure in some of the most demanding environments around the world. After retiring from the Marines, I transitioned into the civil sector, spending years building temporary access roads and work platforms up and down the East Coast and across this great nation.

Throughout my career, both in uniform and industry, I've faced the same challenge time and time again: field crews are often forced to work around problems because the right solution simply doesn't exist in the marketplace. As a project manager, I've spent years developing practical innovations and real-world solutions to overcome those challenges.

Eventually, I realized those solutions shouldn't stay on my jobsites-they should be available to everyone.

That's why we founded Site Mat Solutions, or SMS.

Site Mat Solutions is proudly a veteran-owned and operated business built on the values of hard work, integrity, innovation, and service. We believe the best ideas come from the people doing the work, not from a boardroom.

Our mission is simple: to provide practical, field-tested products designed by people who have actually done the job. We create solutions for the men and women in the field who need equipment that works day in and day out, under real-world conditions.

As the industries we serve continue to evolve, so will we. Our product line will continually grow and adapt to meet real-world demands, solving problems as they arise and delivering innovative solutions that make jobs safer, more efficient, and more productive.
